The 5th exclusive workshop hosted by OEKOBIT and greentec on January 26th 2017, “New Developments around Biogas”, held in Wittlich (Rhineland-Palatinate), was well-received. At the event clients of both companies were given the opportunity to attend specialized lectures for plant operators, take part in stimulating discussions, as well as attend product presentations. More than 90 participants from all over Germany attended.

Within the framework of the workshop, the event organizers informed the participants on current developments in the field of biogas. Topics included the impact of the amendment of the renewable energies Act (EEG 2017), plant flexibility and the use of alternative substrates. Along with the lawyer Dr. Helmut Loibl, the OEKOBIT Managing Director Christoph Spurk, Jörg Lösing (2G) and Dr. Wolfgang Röser (Teracine), gave lectures.

The participants were enthused by the one-day event. The conclusion was that OEKOBIT and greentec had covered a broad spectrum of topics within the workshop program, from business themes to technical aspects to legal implications, and had provided top-class speakers.
